GLA is a component of healthy skin. Skin disorders like eczema, psoriasis, rosacea, dermatitis, cradle cap, acne and dry skin can occur when GLA is low. GLA is vital for keeping skin cells moist and strong improving the barrier function of the skin. GLA deficiency is a major cause of PMS. Additionally, in women who have gone through menopause, the enzyme that converts food into GLA becomes impaired.

Medicinal Ingredients - Each teaspoon contains:

Borago officinalis seed oil (Borage oil) providing:
Omega 6 LA 1000 mg
Omega 6 GLA 500 mg


Non-medicinal ingredients: Helianthus annus, Hi-Oleic sunflower oil.


Adults & Adolescents (12 years and older): Take one teaspoon daily or as directed by a practitioner. Use uncooked only (on yogurt, in shakes, on salad or on a spoon.) Do not heat. Keep refrigerated and consume within 8 weeks of opening. Keep out of reach of children. .

Great For Irritate Skin

We purchased this oil to help treat eczema. Spreading a thin layer over the affected area reduces the irritation, itch, and redness. Used daily, once or twice, it is a definite help.
