Py-Plex (formerly Pylori-Plex)

Pyl-Plex provides unique ingredients to support the gastrointestinal tract. Mastic gum, licorice, marshmallow root and slippery elm bark all have traditional uses as gastro-protective herbs.

Mastic gum, a resin obtained from the tree, Pistacia lentiscus, is used traditionally in the Mediterranean as both a food ingredient and a traditional healing plant for the gastrointestinal system. Several animal and human studies indicate that it may have the ability to kill the H. Pylori bacteria. Licorice was often used as a demulcent, to soothe and coat the stomach and throat.

Adults: Take 2 capsules daily with meals, or as directed by your healthcare practitioner. Consult your healthcare practitioner for use beyond 4-6 weeks.

Caution: Do not use if you are taking thiazide diuretics, cardiac glycosides, corticosteroids, stimulant laxatives, or other medications which may aggravate electrolyte imbalance, have hypokalemia, high blood pressure, a kidney or cardiovascular disorder, or are allergic to the Anacardiaceae family, such as pistachio. Consult your healthcare practitioner prior to use if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, taking blood pressure medication, or have diabetes or a liver disorder. Hypersensitivity has been known to occur, in which case, discontinue use. Do not use if the seal is broken or missing. Store in a cool, dry place. Keep out of reach of children.
