Blessed Thistle is traditionally used in Herbal Medicine as a digestive tonic and bitter to increase appetite and aid digestion (stomachic), to help relieve dyspepsia, and as an expectorant to help relieve cold symptoms such as excessive catarrh.
Medicinal Ingredients: per 1 ml
Blessed Thistle tops (Cnicus benedictus) QCE (1:4) |
250 mg |
Non-medicinal ingredients: Grain alcohol, Distilled water, Vegetable glycerine.
Adults: Take 2.4-4.8 ml (72-144 drops) 3 times daily in a little water before meals.
Caution: Do not use if you are pregnant or if you are allergic to plants of the Asteraceae/Compositae/Daisy family. Consult a health care practitioner if symptoms worsen or persist or before use if you are breastfeeding. Hypersensitivity (e.g. allergy) has been known to occur, in which case discontinue use.
