Wild Yam Complex contains Wild Yam, Black Cohosh, Shatavari, Korean Ginseng, St John's Wort and Sage. Used to help relieve restlessness and/or nervousness (sedative and/or calmative). Used to help relieve the pain associated with menstruation. Used to help ease nervous tension (calmative). Used to help relieve premenstrual symptoms and relieve symptoms associated with menopause.
Medicinal Ingredients: each tablet contains: Wild yam root & rhizome 4:1 extract from dioscorea villosa root & rhizome 400mg 100mg, shatavari root 4:1 extract from asparagus racemosus root 400mg 100mg, st john’s wort herb flowering top 6:1 extract from hypericum perforatum herb flowering top 600mg (containing hypericins 300mcg) 100mg, sage aerial parts 5:1 extract from salvia officinalis aerial parts herb 290mg 58mg, black cohosh root 5:1 extract from actaea racemosa root 100mg 20mg and Korean ginseng root 5:1 extract from panax ginseng root 75mg (containing ginsenosides* 1.3mg) 15mg.
Non-medicinal ingredients: Cellulose, sodium starch glycollate, calcium phosphate, silica, magnesium stearate, hypromellose, maltodextrin and glucose.
Adult Women: Take 1 tablet 3 – 4 times daily, or as directed by a healthcare practitioner.
Caution: Avoid prolonged exposure to sunlight, ultraviolet light (UV) or UV therapy. Consult a health care practitioner if symptoms persist or worsen. Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you are taking digoxin or medications such as anti-anxiety and/or antidepressant, seizure, antihistamines, bronchodilators, muscle relaxants and/or opiates; if you have a liver disorder or if you have diabetes. Do not use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, or if you are taking medications for anti-cancer, blood thinners, antidepressants (e.g. selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRI)), anti-HIV agents, cardiovascular, immunosuppressants, and/ or contraceptive, if you have hormone sensitive conditions such as uterine, endometrial, breast or ovarian cancer as well as endometriosis and uterine fibroids, if you have a protein S deficiency as wild yam may increase the risk of thrombosis, or a seizure disorder (e.g. epilepsy). Hypersensitivity, such as an allergy, has been known to occur; and some people may experience mild gastrointestinal disturbances, nausea, insomnia, restlessness and/or headaches in which case, discontinue use.
