St. John's Wort is traditionally used as a sedative for relief of restlessness or nervousness.
St. John's Wort is used for depression, dysthymia, anxiety, heart palpitations, mood disturbances associated with menopause, attention deficit-hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), and seasonal affective disorder (SAD). St. John's Wort is also recognized as having strong antiviral properties.
Medicinal Ingredients: per 1 ml:
St. John's Wort flowering tops (Hypericum perforatum) |
250 mg QCE (1:4) |
St. Francis St. John's Wort flowering tops are Certified Organically Grown.
Non-medicinal ingredients: Distilled water, Grain alcohol, Vegetable glycerine.
Adults: Take 3.2 ml (96 drops) 3 times daily in a little water on an empty stomach.
Caution: Do not use if pregnant or breastfeeding. Discontinue use at least 2 weeks before surgery. Avoid prolonged exposure to sunlight, ultraviolet light (UV) or UV therapy. Consult a health care practitioner: if you experience sleep disturbances; if you are taking conventional medicine such as contraceptives, HIV-1 protease inhibitors, nonnucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitors, immunosuppresants, anticoagulants, digoxin, theophylline, serotonergic antidepressants, migraine therapies, SSRIs and/or anti-epilepsy drugs; if symptoms persist.
Keep out of reach of children. Do not use if seal is broken. Store at room temperature.
