Multi Vite

Multi Vite provides a combination of vitamins and minerals that support the maintenance of bones and the formation of red blood cells.
Vitamin D is necessary for proper bone cell activity, including bone growth and remodelling. It promotes calcium and phosphorus absorption in the intestine, and regulates their levels in the blood and kidney for normal bone mineralization. Calcium intake, when combined with sufficient vitamin D, a healthy diet, and regular exercise, may reduce the risk of developing osteoporosis. Vitamin C further contributes to bone health through its role in collagen synthesis, which provides structural support for the bone matrix. Vitamin C, along with vitamin E and selenium, are involved in the antioxidant defense system to further maintain good health. As a necessary component of hemoglobin, iron is important for the normal production and activity of red blood cells. Low levels of iron may alter vitamin A transport from its storage form, which is required for stimulating immune cell development, maintaining the natural barrier of the skin, and the production of rhodopsin for night vision.

Medicinal Ingredients: Each tablet contains:

Non-medicinal ingredients: Cellulose, croscarmellose sodium, magnesium stearate, silica, hypromellose, glycerin.

Adults: Take one tablet two times daily with meals, a few hours before or after taking other medications, or as recommended by your health care practitioner. For use beyond 4 weeks, consult your healthcare practitioner.

Caution: If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, if you are sensitive to pancreatic enzymes or to pork proteins, or if you have a history of systemic lupus erythematosus, do not use. If you have a liver disorder, gastrointestinal lesions/ulcers, peptic ulcer, diabetes, kidney inflammation, pancreatitis, pancreatic exocrine insufficiency or cystic fibrosis; if you are taking anti-inflammatory agents, blood thinners, or birth control medication, if you are undergoing hormone replacement therapy (HRT), or if you are having surgery, consult your healthcare practitioner prior to use. People sensitive to nicotinic acid may experience flushing of the skin that is generally mild and transient. Nausea, vomiting, abdominal/epigastric pain and/or heartburn have been known to occur, in which case, discontinue use and consult your healthcare practitioner. Hypersensitivity/allergy have been known to occur, in which case, discontinue use.
