Get busy in the kitchen this Valentine's Day and make a batch of this yummy nut butter that will leave your date wanting more. Healthy fats make for a delicious, nutritious, chocolatey spread! Some of the conventional chocolate-flavored nut spreads contain a whopping 55% sugar, plus a whole slew of other questionable ingredients that are best to leave aside! Did we mention that our Maple Nut Butter is gluten, dairy, soy and preservative free?
Ingredients
1 cup hazelnuts (soaked for 12 hours)
¼ cup hemp seeds
¼ cup raw cacao powder
¼ cup coconut oil
¼ cup maple syrup
¼ tsp Himalayan salt
¼ tsp cinnamon
Directions
- Place all ingredients in your food processor and process until a creamy consistency is reached.
- Use for spreading on your favorite gluten free bread or a dip for crunchy apples!
- Store in an airtight glass container in the fridge, for up to one week.
- Double the recipe... it won’t last long!

Do you melt the coconut oil first?
