Healthy Glow ProseccFaux For New Year's Eve

Healthy Glow ProseccFaux For New Year's Eve

I love a good glass of bubbly. It’s hard to pass up a dry Champagne or Prosecco, but I also like feeling good in the morning so I have designed a dry, bubbly, non-alcoholic cocktail that I hope you will love as much as I do.

When looking for mock-champagne recipes online, all I could find was overly sweet and unhealthy mixes of ginger ale and juice. To me that sounds totally gross and will give me a sugar hangover. The healthy bubbly I designed is actually healthy and suits those who prefer earthy natural flavours. Here it is!

In a champagne flute:

  • 10 Drops Angostura Bitters
  • 1/4 Tsp Apple Cider Vinegar (I used Bragg’s)
  • 1/8 Tsp Honey (I like a  darker honey, but any will do)
  • 5 Frozen Blueberries
  • Club Soda

Instructions:

  • Put the bitters, apple cider vinegar, and honey into the champagne flute
  • Add 1 inch of club soda into the glass and mix together to get the honey mixed in (use the gooey honey spoon to mix so that you can get all the honey in there)
  • Top up the glass with Club Soda and garnish with frozen blueberries
  • Use a raw honey if possible so that you get the immune benefits. The combination of that and the apple cider vinegar will leave your tummy and your tastebuds very happy. Cheers!
