Benfotiamine from AOR is a natural form of thiamin, more commonly known as vitamin B1. Thiamin may prevent sugar products from damaging proteins which leads to the formation of advanced glycation end-products (AGEs), by blocking the final step of that process. Thiamin, or vitamin B1, is a vital member of the B-complex family, and it has a number of important health benefits. Among the many benefits of vitamin B1 is its ability to increase blood circulation and provide a greater supply of oxygen to the blood cells. In addition, vitamin B1 is known to help with the proper metabolism of carbohydrates, making it vital to good digestion.
