Mega Mag helps to maintain proper muscle function. Magnesium is an abundant mineral in the human body with several essential functions. In co-operation with calcium, magnesium is needed for bone heal, muscle contraction and relaxation, nerve impulse transmission, blood pressure and heart function. In addition, it is utilized in hundreds of enzymes which serve to initiate chemical reactions. Taking magnesium glycinate is one of the most efficient ways to ensure these metabolic needs are met.

NutriChem’s Mega Mag Magnesium Glycinate supplement has a gentle effect on the bowel, while maximizing absorption through the intestinal walls into other body tissues. Chelating (attaching) glycine to this mineral improves absorption through the intestinal walls. Other forms of magnesium, such as chlorides, sulfates and citrates tend to loosen the bowel. This may not be a desirable effect of supplementation.

Medicinal Ingredients

Each vegetarian capsule contains:

  • Magnesium Glycinate (as elemental) - 120 mg

Non-medicinal ingredients: vegetable magnesium stearate and silicon dioxide in a capsule composed of vegetable carbohydrate gum and purified water.

Directions

Adults: Take orally up to 3 capsules daily, at bedtime, or as directed by a health practitioner.


Caution: Adult use only. Some people may experience gastrointestinal disturbances such as diarrhea.
