Diamine oxidase (DAO) is a crucial digestive enzyme produced by your body to break down histamine found in foods. Taking Nutri-DAO may help to manage histamine intolerance, which can lead to migraines, headaches, gastrointestinal problems, and skin conditions.

A lack of sufficient DAO can cause histamine intolerance, also known as food histaminosis or enteral histaminosis, leading to illness after consuming histamine-rich foods.

Nutri-DAO may help replenish the diamine oxidase enzyme in your body, assist in breaking down histamine-laden foods and may alleviate symptoms of histamine intolerance. Nutri-DAO may also provide relief from headaches, digestive troubles, and skin reactions.

Medicinal Ingredients

Each capsule contains:

  • Diamine Oxidase - 0.294 mg (10000.0 HDU)

Non-Medicinal Ingredients: acetylated oxidized starch, carboxymethylcellulose, microcrystalline cellulose, glycerol anhydrous, hydroxypropylcellulose, hypromellose, povidone, rice starch, shellac, talc, titanium dioxide (CI 77891), vitamin C.

Directions

Adults: Take two capsules once daily or as directed by your health care practitioner. Take 5-10 minutes before food.


Caution and Warnings: If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, consult a health care practitioner prior to use. If you have coronary heart disease, hypertension, bronchial asthma or are taking H1 blockers, consult a health care practitioner prior to use. Not suitable for vegetarians (source of enzyme comes from animals).

Histamine overload

Have been struggling with histamine issues for months and tried this to give me some relief from headaches, stuffy head, flushing and stomach upset. It started to work immediately. It recommends 2 in the morning but I have had to take two in the late afternoon as well especially if I’m not eating low histamine foods.
