Black Cohosh is a traditional herb that is especially beneficial to women due to its mild estrogen-like activity. It is especially helpful to relieve symptoms during menstruation and menopause. Cohosh is a Native American word meaning "rough", which is descriptive of the herb's rugged black root.
Medicinal Ingredients - Each capsule contains:
Black Cohosh root (Cimicifuga racemosa)
540 mg
Non-medicinal ingredients: gelatin (capsule), magnesium stearate.
Adults: Take 1 or 2 capsules per day. May be used up to 6 months.
Caution: Do not use if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, have hormone sensitive conditions or cancer to the breast, uterus, or ovary. Consult a health care practitioner if symptoms persist. Discontinue use and consult a health care practitioner if you develop symptoms of liver trouble such as weakness, unusual fatigue, yellowing of the skin or whites of the eyes, dark urine and / or abdominal pain.
Safety sealed with outer shrink-wrap and inner seal. Do not use if either seal is broken or missing.
