This Buffered Vitamin C Powder was designed by Thorne Research specifically for people who are sensitive to the acidity of pure ascorbic acid. Ascorbic acid is the pure version of vitamin C. High doses (of several grams daily) may improve the functioning of the immune system function and antioxidant support. Vitamin C may work to combat stress, remove heavy metals (like mercury and lead) from the body, kill Candida bacteria, support a good balance of healthy bacteria in the gut, and promote cardiovascular health.

Medicinal Ingredients: Each half scoop (2.9 g) contains:

Vitamin C (ascorbic acid)

1,175 mg

Calcium (calcium ascorbate)

175 mg

Magnesium (magnesium ascorbate)

175 mg

Potassium (potassium ascorbate)

49.5 mg

Artificial colours, flavours, and sweeteners; corn, dairy, egg, gluten, lactose, magnesium stearate, soy, wheat, yeast. Hypoallergenic.

Adults (19 years and over): Mix 1/2 to 1 scoop with water or juice daily or as recommended by a healthcare practitioner. Risk information: Do not take two (2) hours prior to or until four (4) hours after taking other medications. Where impaired renal function exists, the use of potassium supplements should be monitored closely. The use of potassium supplements with potassium-sparing diuretics (spironolactone, triamterene, amiloride) may lead to hyperkalemia. Do not use if security seal inside cap is broken.
