Non-medicinal ingredients: Vegetable-grade magnesium stearate, vegetable capsule.
Dairy, wheat, artificial colours, flavours, or preservatives.
Adults: Take 1 capsule 3 times per day with meals including protein, a few hours before or after taking other medications or as directed by a healthcare practitioner. For optimal results take daily. Consult a healthcare practitioner for use beyond 12 weeks.
Caution: Do not use if you are taking antibiotics or nitroglycerin. Consult a healthcare practitioner prior to use if you are taking any medication including blood thinners.
Do not use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Consult a healthcare practitioner prior to use, especially if you have a medical condition including kidney stones, gallstones, a bile duct obstruction, stomach ulcers, excess stomach acid, diabetes, iron deficiency, a history of non-melanoma skin cancer or a liver disorder, or if you develop symptoms of liver trouble such as abdominal pain, dark urine or jaundice. If you are taking prescription medication, consult a healthcare practitioner prior to use as resveratrol may alter the effectiveness of these medications. Discontinue use and consult a healthcare practitioner if you experience symptoms of serious low blood sugar such as sweating, paleness, chills, headache, dizziness, and confusion, or develop symptoms of liver trouble such as yellowing of the skin/eyes (jaundice), stomach pain, dark urine, sweating, nausea, unusual tiredness and loss of appetite.
People sensitive to niacin may experience flushing of the skin that is generally mild and transient. Zinc supplementation can cause a copper deficiency. Rare, unpredictable cases of liver injury associated with green tea extract-containing products have been reported (in Canada and internationally).
