This version of MSB reflects the most recent developments in research in the areas connecting trisomy 21 with microbiome health and cognitive function.

Our MSB formula has been modified to maximize absorption of certain nutrients even in the presence of an unfavourable microbiome. Lipid soluble B1, or benfotiamine, has been added to the formula for this reason along with activated B6 (pyridoxal-5-phosphate). N-acetyl-cysteine has been added as the cysteine source as it is a more stable form than the amino acid cysteine. Selenomethioine has been added as our Selenium source for the added benefit of additional methionine in the formula. Resveratrol, a plant polyphenol and potent antioxidant, has been added to the formula as well as curcumin, a compound from the herb turmeric with anti-inflammatory properties.

Monk Fruit (Aka Siraitia grosvenorii) is an extremely sweet small green fruit. Extracts made from the dried fruit have been used as a natural sweetener for thousands of years in Asia. The unique biochemistry of this natural fruit extract allows it to have over 250 times the sweetening strength of sucrose without containing any calories or having any negative impact on blood sugar levels. It has been extensively researched in glucose disorders such as diabetes with positive outcomes. A very small amount is added to our new MSB formula to ensure the best tasting flavours without any added sugars, sucrose, or artificial sweeteners!

Directions

Dosing: Use as directed

Formula should be mixed with food or liquid and given at mealtime. Dose may by divided among meals.

When you first start on the MSB, start with only a partial dose, and work up to the full dose over a period of 1-2 weeks. It can be mixed with liquids or moist foods such as juice, dairy-free yogurt, applesauce, pudding, etc.

Store in the freezer or in a cool, dry place. DO NOT REFRIGERATE.

Well worth the money

My son with Down syndrome has been on this supplement for over 25 years. I believe it has made a big difference in his life. Before he started taking MSB he had a lot of respiratory illness. After he started taking MSB he rarely ever got sick, and no respiratory illnesses. My husband wasn't totally convinced so then we did a trial of two weeks on the MSB and two weeks off. We evaluated his behavior during this time. He was able to focus better when on MSB. We were convinced MSB was worth it. The lady who heads our DS support group, who is familiar with many families who have a loved one with Down syndrome, said once that those who are on a supplement like MSB tend to be higher functioning.

Good supplement

We are happy our daughter with Down syndrome has been on this supplement most of her life!! I hope it continues to keep her energetic and slows the onset of dementia later in life. We are just starting our 6 year old son, who has down syndrome, on MSB. I’m happy I can mix it into yogurt, apple sauce, etc. and he takes it and is getting added vitamins and nutrients.

My Trisomy 21 daughter started this product the first years of her life.

We were so impressed with the results.

She is 18 now and just recently started her back on MSB. WOW We noticed results with her skin, with her mental attention and physical energy within a couple of weeks. Very good product.
