Passion Flower is traditionally used in Herbal Medicine as a sleep aid (in cases of restlessness or insomnia due to mental stress).
Recent studies suggest quite strikingly that passion flower is as effective as pharmaceutical drugs (i.e. benzodiazepines) in eliminating the symptoms of anxiety-related disorders. In this vein, it is also quite useful in the treatment of insomnia, the great thing about it being that it does not cause any next-day hangover.

Medicinal Ingredients: per 1 ml:

Passion Flower (Passiflora incarnata, herb top)

250 mg QCE dry (1:4) OR 1000 mg QCE fresh (1:1)

St. Francis Passion Flower tops are Certified Organically Grown.

Non-medicinal ingredients: Distilled water, Grain alcohol.

Adults: Take 4 ml (120 drops) once daily in a little water at bedtime.

Caution: Consumption with alcohol, other drugs or natural health products with sedative properties is not recommended. Consult a health care practitioner before use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Consult a health care practitioner if sleeplessness persists continuously for more than 3 weeks (chronic insomnia) or if symptoms worsen.

Some people may experience drowsiness. Exercise caution if operating heavy machinery, driving a motor vehicle, or involved in activities requiring mental alertness. Hypersensitivity (e.g. allergy) has been known to occur, in which case discontinue use.

Keep out of reach of children. Do not use if seal is broken. Store at room temperature.
